1. Volume size
There are two ways to install the louver window
: concealed installation and exposed installation. When purchasing, you need to measure the size of the louver window according to different assembly methods. The length of louver window installed in the lattice lattices should be the same as the height of the window, but the width should be 1~2 cm smaller than the left and right sides of the window. If the shutter is hung outside the window, its length should be about 10 cm longer than the height of the window, and its width should be about 5 cm wider than both sides of the window to ensure that it has a good shading effect. Generally speaking, concealed louver window are suitable for small rooms such as kitchens and toilets, while exposed louver window are more suitable for large rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, and studies.
2. Look at the quality
The blades of the louver window are an important part of adjusting the louver window. When shopping for louver window, it is best to first touch whether the louver window are smooth and even, and see whether each blade will have burrs. Generally speaking, high-quality shutters have better handling of the details of the blades, especially the shutter blades made of plastic, wood, and bamboo. If the texture is good, then its service life will be longer.
The adjusting rod is also a part of the louver window that needs to be investigated. The adjustment lever of the blind has two functions, one is to adjust the lift switch of the blind, and the other is to adjust the angle of the blade. When inspecting the adjusting rod, first hang the louver window horizontally and try to pull it to see if the lift switch is smooth, and then turn the adjusting rod to see if the turning of the blades is also flexible.
3. Observe the color
The blades and all the accessories including the wire stand, the adjusting rod, the cable, and the small accessories on the adjusting rod must be kept in the same color.
4. Check the finish
Feel the smoothness of the blades and the wire frame with your hands. Good quality products are smooth and flat, without thorny hands.
5. Open the curtain and test the opening and closing function of the leaf
Turn the adjusting rod to open the blades. The blades should maintain good levelness, that is, the spacing between the blades is symmetrical, and the blades are kept straight and there is no feeling of bending up and down. When the leaves are closed, the leaves should coincide with each other without light leakage.
6. Check the resistance to deformation
After the blades are opened, the blades can be pressed down with hand force to make the stressed blades bend down, and then quickly let go. If the blades immediately return to the horizontal state without bending, it indicates that the quality is qualified.
7. Test the automatic locking function
When the blades are all closed, pull the cable to roll up the blades. Pull the cable to the right at this time, the blades should be automatically locked and kept in the corresponding rolled state, and neither continue to roll up nor fall loose. Otherwise, there is a problem with the locking function
