1. Glass maintenance

An important part of the curtain wall is glass, and glass is a vulnerable part, so management and protection are very important.
Extensive circulation of air in the storage area is necessary. Especially in the high temperature and cycle temperature cycle should pay more attention. If conditions do not allow them to be stored indoors, they should be covered with tarpaulin or plastic to prevent rain and inflowing water from the wind, and the cover should be opened regularly to check for condensation.

The glass must be covered with an opaque protective cover, and must not be stored directly under the sun. All types of glass should be stacked upright at an angle of 5°-7° from the vertical and leaning against a solid straight wall. The top and bottom edges of all glass should be cushioned with oil felt and separated with protective cardboard or other oil felt. If the glass is laid flat, the surface must be covered with linoleum to prevent dust, sand glass or other contaminants.

Protection during construction. In construction, bright flags, colored ribbons, etc. are usually used to hang near the glass or stick to the front of the window frame, side pillar or window sill to mark the space for installing the glass. Never allow the rope to directly touch the glass, and do not allow marks or paint to be directly painted on the surface of the glass. If welding, cutting, sandblasting or other construction techniques that may damage the glass are used near the glass, plywood or plastic must be used. The plates act as a tight isolation layer to prevent them from affecting or even damaging the glass.

2. Node maintenance

The curtain wall node is the main accessory for the connection between the curtain wall and the floor slab. In order to prevent corrosion, surface treatment must be carried out. Generally, the surface of A 3 steel is galvanized, and the surface is coated with anti-rust iron red primer after installation. The nodes on the floor that are not sealed for repair can be inspected at any time. If corrosion is found, local polishing can be carried out before painting. If the bolts are loose, re-tighten. The floor sealing repair can be checked regularly. Partial inspection, if any problems are found, all inspections, and anti-corrosion treatment.
